Context window

The amount of text an AI model can "see" and take into account at once, measured in tokens. Anything outside the context window, including earlier parts of a long conversation, is invisible to the model and effectively forgotten. Larger context windows allow models to work with longer documents or conversation histories. (See also: Tokenisation, Large language model)
