Andrej Karpathy

A Slovak-Canadian AI researcher known for his work on deep learning and computer vision at Stanford, his role as a founding member and later director of AI at Tesla, and a period at OpenAI, alongside widely followed educational writing and videos explaining how neural networks and large language models work. He popularised the "LLM wiki" concept of using a language model to maintain a personal, continuously updated knowledge base, the method underlying this vault. (See also: Large language model)
