Free tier: Images, video and files

Storing files, sharing them, and processing images and video. Includes the image CDNs that do optimisation and resizing on the way out, and several encrypted stores where the provider cannot read what you put in.

  • Proton Drive — Encrypted storage for files and documents from Proton. 5 GB free.
  • redbooth.com — Peer-to-peer file syncing, free for two users.

File sharing and transfer

  • AndroidFileHost — File sharing with no limits on speed, bandwidth or download count. Oriented towards Android development.
  • anon.li Drop — Zero-knowledge file sharing with AES-256-GCM encryption applied in the browser, so the server never sees the contents.
  • dlvr.sh — Temporary file delivery for agents and automation, with API, MCP and CLI access. Ten deliveries a day.
  • Dropshare — End-to-end encrypted file sharing with client-side processing and no server-side access.

  • imagekit.io — Image CDN with automatic optimisation, real-time transformation and storage.
  • ImgBB — Unlimited image hosting with drag-and-drop upload and direct links. 32 MB per image.
  • Imgbot — Bot that optimises images in a Git repository and opens a pull request with the results.
