Jensen Huang

Co-founder and chief executive of NVIDIA, who in 2006 committed the company to CUDA, a general-purpose programming interface for its graphics processors, at considerable cost and with no AI market yet in sight. When AlexNet was trained on two GeForce cards in 2012, that bet turned NVIDIA's hardware into the default substrate for deep learning, and the company's accelerators and software stack now sit under nearly all large-scale training and much inference.
