Demis Hassabis

A British AI researcher, neuroscientist, and former chess prodigy who co-founded DeepMind in 2010, the lab behind AlphaGo and AlphaFold. He shared the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for AlphaFold's breakthrough in predicting protein structures, one of the most significant scientific applications of AI to date.
