Parameters (AI model)

The internal numerical values a neural network adjusts during training to capture patterns in its data. A model's parameter count (often quoted in billions, e.g. "a 70-billion-parameter model") is a rough, though widely misused, proxy for its scale and capability. More parameters generally mean more capacity to learn, but also more computing power required to run the model. (See also: Neural network, Compute)
