Neural network

A computing structure loosely inspired by the human brain, made up of layers of interconnected nodes that adjust their internal values (see parameters) as the system is trained on data. Neural networks are the basic building block of deep learning and most contemporary AI systems. (See also: Deep learning, Parameters)
